I am not a great photographer. I can do ok with the right daylight and some time on my hands. I did do GCSE and A level photography and have always been interested in it but I have never been near to mastering the ability I really want.
If you have a shop on Etsy, Folksy or any of the others; or like to show pictures of your work in general, you'll know the importance of great images. There have been lots of tips about how to do this here, there and everywhere.
Today I've found my absolute favourite guide which has reminded me of lots of things I once learned and have since forgotten. It's here on Andrea's *blog*. I like the way she takes huge amounts of time and effort to ensure her instructions and explanations are clear. She offers examples and analogies to help people really understand and remember some good guidelines. (The image above is the one she uses to talk about aperture for example).
It's made me want to find time to learn about it all again properly. If only I could find a spare evening a week...
